Buyer Protection & Refunds
WorkLink SA is built so you can buy useful digital products with clear delivery and support. This page explains what happens if something goes wrong after payment.
How purchases work
- Buy — You pay through WorkLink’s Yoco checkout.
- Verify — Payment is confirmed server-side.
- Unlock — Access is granted to the product or Deal Room after confirmation.
WorkLink does not hold buyer funds as a wallet and does not advertise escrow.
When we can help
- Payment succeeded but product access was not granted
- Delivery link or file is inaccessible or broken
- Product is materially different from the listing
- Listing was misleading about contents, format or licence
- Duplicate accidental purchase of the same item
When a refund may not apply
- Change of mind after successful access to digital files
- Buyer error in choosing the wrong product category
- Compatibility issues outside the stated format (e.g. software not listed)
- Failure to follow stated delivery instructions
South African consumer law still applies where mandatory rights exist.
How to report a problem
- Email [email protected] with your order or Deal Room reference, product name and a short description.
- Attach screenshots if access failed or the file is defective.
- We aim to respond to payment and access issues within 24 hours on business days, and other disputes within 72 hours.
Resolution process
- We confirm payment and order status.
- We contact the seller if required.
- We restore access, request a corrected delivery, or process a refund decision.
- You receive a written outcome.
Working businesses and high-value transfers
Listings for working websites or businesses use a Deal Room workflow. Protection depends on the evidence and terms agreed in that room. Always review documents before final payment confirmation.
